Ok! Here we go trying out a little video! Let me know if this format works for you, I’m going to try to add these extra styling add on videos semi-regularly to talk through the how’s and whys.
I promise I’m not going to make every newsletter this fall about my trip to Paris, but this is about…my trip to Paris.
When I went, I did my tried and true packing method, I had outfits perfectly pre-planned so I didn’t overpack, or ever feel frustrated or at a loss for what to wear. On my way out the door, I threw on my navy sweatshirt from Jamie Haller, and tossed a grey one in my carry on from Richer Poorer, as a just in case thing. I wasn’t sure I’d wear either of them, but hey, better safe than sorry.
When I arrived, it was colder than I anticipated, and all of the things I packed felt kind of…wrong. I didn’t go a single day or single outfit change without incorporating one of them, one way or another, into what I was wearing. I will never travel without a sweatshirt again.
I also just did a mini closet clean out (it’s The RealReal’s consignment month, and you can earn an extra $450 by consigning, not an ad here, thought I did partner with them on my last letter, just saying…it’s a good time to out with the old) and it made me think more about what I’m willing to part with, and which pieces I would never in a zillion years give up. These perfect fitting crewnecks are things I’d never, ever get rid of. And of course, if you want to just shop, shop the edit here.
