"what a gift it is to live in a time when people continue to open themselves up in spite of everyone saying itās pointless or fruitless or a losing game. Or worse, tearing you apart in your most vulnerable moments" -- your willingness to be vulnerable and your demonstrations of how to have IRL empathy are gifts.
I love dressing up based on my mood, it makes me feel so grounded and confident, worrying about whether someone will think Iām weird or tacky is so over. Give me all the tackiness
I need to hit the gym asap and understand. I will commit myself and understand but fancy clothes are really hard for me to justify spending money on . One person which has an opinion. If the situation changes then I value the other personās opinions. Out here I donāt need to wear expensive clothing do I ?
Great read and super inspiring. I'm coming into 'style' slowly, having years of hand-me-downs and the artists uniform of black tees and jeans ā all which never came from a frame of creativity. I'll come back to this whenever I lose my North Star.
First I had my back to trashy epiphany when I kept being drawn to slutty knits last fall. Iām talking a big grey sweater with a slit up the back. Then I got a very prim very Audrey (hehe) black turtleneck - with a slit up the back.
Your board shorts remind me of Roxy board shorts from the early aughts, wish I had kept them theyād be just so good RN.
I am so nervous about heading to my first fashion week (Paris) and had talked myself into bulletproof CHIC looks because I am terrified of feeling not the thing. But fuck it I love silly and even stupid in style and it seems like everyone is scared anyways.
Iām loving the title of this article ā I tell our kids this all the time, Iāve been lots of things, but Iāve never been bored. Btw this jeankini, wowww
I'm so into the way you're writing and opening up lately ā you inspire me x1000! Please never make Earl Earl anything else but fully YOU.
ME TOO
Meet you at the bonfire! Iām in for this journey!
