A while back I wrote this post about not getting any more botox, except in my neck. In it, I admitted that eventually I’d probably go back on that and do it again, and so on, and my, my, my how quickly I am eating my own words. I nibbled them here, and now I’m fully, well…gobbling them. Chowing the fuck down.
My perspective on aging has remained the same - I don’t want to not age, I just don’t want to look older than my age. I want to protect and preserve what I have, because I love what I have. I don’t want to look difference or change anything, just…preserve. You know?

Since moving to LA, I started seeing Christina Ramsey Martin for all this stuff, and I love and trust her so much. She understands that I want to look like myself and that I don’t think there’s anything fundamentally wrong with myself, and so we focus more on prevention and regeneration than alterations. Christina is now at Contrapposto Clinics in West Hollywood, the most beautiful clinic of all time, and when I went in last week for my annual full tune-up, I made a little video, and brought my friend Bliss to take photos, so today I bring you - everything I’m doing and why. The audio isn’t great, but you can hear what’s going on. (I also put together an edit of my spring skin essentials here, in case you don’t want to see the whole issue).

And this is the moment where I say - I am not a doctor, please consult yours before doing anything medical. I am also not saying anyone NEEDS to do any of these things, or that I NEED it. I am a grownup and these are things I want to do because they make me feel good. I also didn’t get paid for this, and I paid for these services myself. This is NOT a sponsored or comped post, I’ve been seeing Christina for a long, long time and cannot recommend her expertise highly enough, and I also happen to really like her as a person and end up laughing a lot when I see her. If you have something nasty to say about me and my choices, ~keep it to yourself~
