As I’m starting to get my act together with holiday gift shopping, I’m realizing that the problem I have is this: all year long I have moments with loved ones where I get an inspired idea for a gift, or they drop a hint and I think I have to remember that… and I never do. I’m chronically disorganized, but since I discovered the Carted app a few months ago, I’ve been using it to help me remember ideas and make little holiday shopping lists. I partnered with them on a letter a few weeks ago (and I’m delighted to have their support for this newsletter as well), but in a nutshell, Carted lets you save any kind of shopping item (clothes, home goods, toiletries, books, literally anything) into customized shopping lists. You’ll get alerts if items go on sale, which is great, but it essentially saves and organizes all the shopping tabs you might have open on your phone. It’s also great for collecting ideas - which is how I’m using it to shop for gifts this year.
