I write a lot about styling ideas and “how to wear XYZ” thing - but most of us, me included, might only wear XYZ thing once a month. If that! Most of us need things to wear everyday, all the time, for the mundane shit - pickups and dropoffs, average days at work, whatever whatever. One of my styling clients’ conundrums is that she knows what to wear for the big things, it’s the normal things where she’s stumped - and it’s also the territory where its easiest to fall into a rut.

This is clothing prep: pre-assembling some easy to grab and feel-good outfits.
For me, the whole endeavor centers around pants. It’s hard for me to feel grab and go in a dress or skirt, so it’s primarily about pants here. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again - this is my party, and I’ll do what I want.
So, here are some easy formulas to put in to everyday rotation.
