Here's one thing I do after my kids go to bed - decorate my imaginary house.


I love this room by Dimore Studio, most of all I love the Chinese Art Deco rug, something I've dreamed about forrrrever. The thing I love so much about these rugs, aside from the colors and the feel, is that they're so statementy they're almost neutral. They go with everything, and make everything better. And they're expensive as hell, so of course, I enjoy. It's the kind of rug you could roll around on naked, listening to Adele, drunk and crying and it would be glamorous not horrifying.

I know I'm not alone in this intense interest in interiors and what your home feels like right now. I know I'm not the only one that feels simultaneously more connected and less enthused about their decor. It matters more, right now. I don't go anywhere. At all! Ever! Back and forth from the living room to the bed room, laying on a plastic play mat, trying not to look at my phone when we're playing dinosaurs. I have this a…
