Ta-da! Life! Ebbs and flows, and right now for me it’s doing everything.
For years I’ve toyed with the idea of striking out on my own, freelancing, consulting, seeing where things go and what happens. And now, it’s (mostly) happening. My role at ByGeorge is shifting to Editor at Large, and I’ll still be working on our major seasonal campaigns, and still in love with the world of BG, still the store’s biggest fan. But principally, I’m a free agent.
So what does that actually look like?
Creative direction and styling, general consulting for fashion & beauty brands/things, personal styling and shopping, maybe some writing, maybe some silly things like a little capsule collection of perfect things (manifesting that!), probably a lot more newsletters. I’m imagining fun and creativity and nice people and all different sorts of things with all different sorts of people, so basically, a dream. I'm going to figure it out as I go, I guess, and feel my way through the forest.
