I know recently I said I hate trends. And I do in the prescriptive way of magazine trend reporting. Like a whole head to toe look. What I do like, though, are new ways of dressing or styling yourself, new materials and textures to try and work in to your look, or a feeling that seems to be expressible through fashion suddenly. I love playing with clothes, and I do love trying different things with myself to see which make me feel more like me.

The trends disposable rather than like an interesting comment on a conversation we’ve been having through clothes and style forever. Does that make sense?
Still, I pay attention to the runways, and there have been a lot of throughlines that maybe aren’t the most NOVEL or BRAND FUCKING NEW ideas, but I think are nevertheless interesting and compelling, and feel like something you can really delight in and enjoy, no matter what your personal style happens to be.
