Here they are this week!
TRANSITIONAL DRESSING
It’s getting warmer, yall! It’s staying brighter, later! But we’re still not there…here are some good in-betweeners that you can wear until summer, and then again next fall.
1. A perfect loose, boyfriendy v-neck sweater. Excellent over a tee, like this (better over a vintage tee), or on its own with your collarbone showing and a summer necklace later in the season. OR! Over a summery dress. This one is also the most perfect navy blue. Guest In Residence, $345
2. And now, a very excellent neither boho nor not-boho nor cowboy nor any kind of discernible style cropped leather jacket. Being of no particular style, rather a very beautiful cut, it will go with everything you have, forever. Doen, $598
3. And these pants! They’re a great stretch flare but made out of a very dry cotton stretch fabric. I can’t stop wearing them. Light, but not too - the perfect thing to wear if you’re not sure whether to go pants or shorts. Theory, $176
4. Tory Burch is having a great sale, and this blazer with a zipped in padded dickey and hood is part of it. It’s nice and warm, but still a blazer, and then you can zip out the dickey part and wear it as a regular blazer in the summer. Tory Burch, $499
SPEAKING OF THAT TORY BURCH SALE
1. A very plucky little bucket hat for spring/summer! Tory Burch, $39
2. I love this preppy little bucket back with a drawstring. Classic, but not too! Tory Burch, $549
3. And last, I think I will have to get this cotton canvas leather print little jacket. It is simply perfect. Tory Burch, $399
SHOES!
SHOES! SHOES!
1. I think these will be my new spring & summer sneakers - so cute with itty bitty shorts. Nike, $105
2. And honestly, I just can’t resist all these little fabric Mary Janes. These are by Flabelus and come via J.Crew and have a contrasting trim. Flabelus, $140
3. Behold….the most beautiful spring/summer heels I’ve ever seen. I love the closed toe and strappy straps. And the burgundy color. Jeez, They are VERY GOOD! The Row, $1,290
BEAUTY GOODIES
1. After a few years of getting Keratin treatments and blowing my hair out straight, I’m starting to wear it curly again. It’s taken me a while to find the right products, but this “milk serum” from Roz has no parabens, no silicone, etc etc, and makes my hair spiral up very happily without any frizz or heavyness. It’s been out of stock for a while, but just came back today, so I am stocking up! Roz, $52
2. I met with the team behind Dr. Loretta last week and learned a lot about how pollution impacts your skin. Living in LA, that’s a big concern, but this serum is, apparently, full of antioxidants to protect against that, plus prevent damage from blue light. I’ve been using it twice a day and my skin is definitely more hydrated, feels plumper, and is bouncier and brighter - without making the pores on my nose look bigger. Dr Loretta, $75
3. And finally, I can’t stop talking about this vitamin c serum/ tinted SPF by Iris & Romeo. It’s essentially a one-step skin-essentials product that also evens my skintone and protects against UV rays. It also just debuted in a new shade. I leave one in my car so even on mornings when I don’t have a chance to brush my teeth, I can at least slap this on. Iris & Romeo, $50
EXCELLENT DECOR INSPIRATION
My instagram pen-pal Haskell Harris just published this gorgeous book about creating beautiful and meaningful interiors - and if nothing else, it’s exactly what you want to dive into when you need a little break from your own reality. It is SO LOVELY. Haskell Harris, $37
There we are for this week!

I have been meaning to thank you for the Roz recommendation. It has been a game changer! I too have now embraced my wavy hair. Just ordered their new spray!
