stuff incoming!
Big news in my world - my clothing collection is currently on its way from New York to LA. It’s so stupid, but I think about it all the time - mostly to stop myself from buying something (remember, Laurel, you already own that…) but lately also thinking about what exactly is going to be in that giant truck/time capsule of our lives before we left the city, and how I’m going to feel confronting it.
It’s going to be so much stuff, not just my clothes, but everything we saved from Ellis’ babyhood and young toddlerhood for Phoebe to use and wear, which she’s now outgrown, all my books, my husband’s books, our furniture, our silverware, the random detritus of daily life that we didn’t have a chance to clean out before we moved.
