Here we are again! Sorry, sorry, sorry - it took me a while. But here! And it’s time to think about miniskirts! Because they’re everywhere! There are a few things that are maybe just super specific to me that I find challenging, earrings are one, skirts are another. I always think about putting one on and I just don’t know what to do with it. It feels kind of forced to me and dressed up in a conspicuous way. I struggle with skirts.

In my previous job, I got really tired of thinking about trends as trends. It started to feel a little outdated trying to dictate what people should buy each season (not that that’s what we were doing exactly, it’s just a pretty specific way of thinking about clothing and style as content). In my new job, I’m thinking more about the common threads on the runways, and also where the appetite is for new things, and new twists on old ideas that feel fresh. Essentially, trends. Full circle!
