Before getting into it this week - last month, we very unexpectedly lost an important member of our LA community. Our friend Ray, who was Ellis’ soccer coach, the dad to two of Phoebe & Ellis’ best friends, and the husband of my friend Vivian, unexpectedly passed away. Ray was simply the best. The best dad, the best husband, the best coach, the best guy - he was his family’s world.

Overnight, Vivian found herself a single mother to two amazing, brilliant kids, and the way she’s navigated her grief while also caring for her children is both awe-inspiring and devastating. She’s just incredible, and we’re lucky to know her.

Between the sudden expenses related to his passing, the need to take time off to care for herself and her family, and the realities of single parenthood, we’re hoping to help support Viv through this transition. Any amount helps <3 <3 <3
