I've historically struggled to stick to a retinol regimen because A) I usually end up with irritated, bumpy skin, and B) I forget that it's not a moisturizing step, it feels like too much to moisturize on top of it (my skin starts to feel gloopy), and then over time I just stop using it because I prefer moisturizer.
