I have long loved carpenter/painter pants. I have a few pairs of Carhartts, which are great, especially in bad NYC weather. I find them to be a tiny bit too stiff and thick, for most days. Years ago I got a pair of similar looking pants from a Spanish brand I love, Mosscob, which are a little softer. Here I am enjoying them in like 2015.
Maybe my memory was off and these are a little more like utility pants, not straight up carpenter/painter pants, but you get the idea. Surprisingly fun with a sequin top.
Then a few years ago, I was in one of my favorite stores in Tribeca, OK Uniform (they sell….uniforms, ha!) and I got a pair of white double knee Dickie’s painter pants. They were exactly the thing. I got two pairs, and wore one like this:
