I very rarely add new knits to my collection - I hate folding and storing them (I know I got a lot of questions about this after my closet clean out videos, so I’m going to do a separate thing on that topic) but when I see a new sweater all I see is bulk in my closet.
I’m currently in Chicago at my In-Laws, and we usually go for the holidays - I realized I’ve packed and worn the exact same La Ligne cashmere sweater every year for roughly the last six years when I’ve visited. It’s a perfect sweater, I take good care of it, I keep it around. (My husband, two kids and I all pack in one medium-sized Rimowa suitcase when we travel like this, so I don’t get to bring extra things. This is typically the one and only sweater I bring.)
Noticing that I’m always in the same sweater got me thinking about the rest of my collection - there hasn’t been much turnover in the past few years, rather, it’s stocked with true blue winners. Here are some of my favorites.
