And here! We! Go! Again! Thank you for playing this game with me, I love it, and honestly shopping for other people stops me from shopping for myself, so really, THANK YOU! I treasure you! What else can I find for you? Reply, DM, comment, etc etc etc….
Clogs.
Clogs, clogs, clogs! My favorite! These are all pretty self-explanatory, but here we go. Dr. Scholl’s - the classic! Great quality, neutral vibe, what's not to love?
A more 70s vibe - if you like a buckle, here’s your thiiiiing.
On sale!
4. Aeyde, $375
I love these. Were I in the market for another pair of black clogs, I’d get these. I like that the wood is also black.
5. Chloé, $380
I actually almost bought these before I found mine. I love that the sole is covered in suede and the nails are also covered in suede. Very interesting and cool, but not too loud or obvious.
6. Khaite, $531
Heaven. Simple, and clean! Slightly more casual IMO than the Aeyde ones because of the brown wood sole, but still so beautiful.
THE! DREAM! UGH, these are so beautiful. Jil Sander is my favorite.
Navy, boxy blazers.
1. H&M, $50
Oh man, boxy navy blazers, my most favorite category! I love this one from H&M for a) the price, b) the boxyness, and c) that it comes in sizes up to XXL.
Where the H&M one is more fluid, this jacket has more structure. It’s a nice weight that could pretty much double as a coat somewhere like LA.
3. Cos, $225
Ughhhhhhhh I can’t stop thinking about this one from Cos! I love that it’s boxy and slouchy and tomboy-ish, but the shoulders are still narrow.
4. Raey, $664
Boxy, boxy, boxy from Raey, one of my other favorite brands.
Everyday, all day necklace.
1. Mejuri, $148
I love wearing a super thin gold chain on its own every day. For a while I had one that was welded on (no clasp! perfection!) but my daughter kept twisting her finger in it and it freaked me out so I cut it off. Ha!
Gigi Clozeau makes these little enamel and gold chains in a ton of different colors. Of course, I prefer the navy.
3. Dorsey, $550
I just got this necklace, and I haven’t taken it off. It’s made with lab-grown white sapphires, and gives the look of a tennis necklace, but it’s great to wear casually. It’s not overly sparkly or overly flashy, but insanely stylish and makes everything look better.
I don’t generally love wearing a pendant every day (I’m talking like, sleep in it, shower in it, etc) but this one is so sweet and subtle, it would be easy to never ever take it off.
The ultimate classic, this chain has a nice weight and overall look without being ~too much~. I get a ton of requests for a classic, every day chain, that’s not SO INSANELY expensive (relative to fine jewelry) and this is a great option.
I’m talking the thin little pearl necklace in this pic, but jesus it is so stylish and so beautiful. A true main-stay, but in his weight it’s not so so precious or wasp-y. It’s almost a neutral, but a gorgeous one. Imagine it with a great grey cashmere crewneck.
Everyday studs, but not balls.
1. Kalan by Suzanne Kalan, $330
To be honest, I love a simple pair of gold ball studs! I think they’re mega chic. But still - this peach tone morganite + rose gold is mega flattering on a lot of skin tones. They’re sparkly, but not glitzy.
The itty bitty teeny tiniest little diamond bezel studs. What could be better?
3. Mateo, $595
I also love these! Very subtle sparkle, not too heavy, not too statementy, a classic.
4. Vada, $770
I also love these bubble studs with garnets from Vada. Slightly more masculine than the other options, and very cool.
5. Nina Runsdorf x The Stax x Alex Eagle, $900
Victoria created these with Nina Runsdorf and Alex Eagle - there are a bunch of them named after our daughters (the Pinky pair is with Aquamarine for her birthstone!) and while I feel like a bit of a traitor coveting the pearls with the diamond in the center instead of the aqua, I just love these.
And at last! These are what I wear every day - mine are slightly smaller than this, but I love them.
Sneakers.
1. Reebok, $80
I feel kind of dumb being like, navy! navy! navy! But alas, navy! As you can see, I like a retro sneaker, and these are perfect.
These are what I wear everyday. I love them.
3. Nike, $95
Another very neutral, very retro sneaker under $100!
4. Adidas, $100
Sambas! Say no more!
5. Loewe, $690
If you’re in the mood to have $700 sneakers, these are gorgeous.
Ditto here re: $700 sneakers. The color combination on these is just…. *chef’s kiss*
Cardigans.
1. Mango, $20
I prefer my cardigans with buttons and clean collars - I’m not a drapey, open, shawl collar gal, so this group is pretty specific to that. I like a 90s vibe with them too, and always worn buttoned, more like a shirt than a layering piece. This one is very cute, and has wide rips. I like the length, too.
The classic! The snaps! I would love to have one in every color.
Two of my favorite cardigans are from White + Warren. They’re a great resource for cashmere that is special and luxe but not, like, $1000. I love the crew neck on this - you can’t tell because it’s styled with the top button open, but there is a button up there so you can wear it very prim and clean.
4. Vince, $395
Generally, I also like to wear my V-neck cardigans with just a bra and a lot of necklaces. This one is sennnnsual but not too low. It also comes in sizes up to 3XL here.
And finally, the one I probably wear the most. I love this one - it’s very low and sexy with just a bra or nothing underneath. I’ll often roll out of bed and put this one with a pair of sweatpants, and then kind of gradually dress it up throughout the day with jewelry and “real pants”.
Celine vibe sporty anorak to wear with a skirt.
Ok, TBH I’m not entirely sure what this request references, but I think it’s this? It was specific to wear with a skirt - I’d wear it with a long-ish knife-pleat skirt probably if I were going to wear one with a skirt. This one is V cute, but I’d wear it with my Wranglers, thick ribbed socks, and my New Balances OR! Loafers.
2. Gap, $128
Ok, she’s a bomber, not an anorak, but I do very much enjoy!
Love this one - this would be great with a skirt.
Ditto here, and it’s fun that this one has mixed textures.
And lastly, I think this is the OG source. My feelings about new Celine are mixed - the 70s-vibe pieces are chic but sometimes costumey. Everything else feels like aesthetic whiplash to me - very inconsistent. But this is cool! I like that it’s sporty but not athletic.
And there we are!
I love you!
